Council meetings
- Paste-to-minutes: drop notes from the meeting and the desk structures them into the minutes format.
- Decisions recorded in the hub between meetings are already in the draft.
- Approve, publish to owners and keep every version.
- Per-meeting sharing rules so in-camera items stay private.
Annual and special general meetings
General meetings carry their own desk: the notice with the required lead time, the agenda, the budget package, proxies and the minutes afterwards. Notices reach owners through the communications center with delivery tracking, so the strata can show the notice went out when the Act says it must.
Records owners can find
Approved minutes, notices and financial statements live in the resident portal's records section, filtered by what each person is entitled to see. A Form B request pulls the current bylaws, rules and budget from the same vault.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly must council minutes be distributed in BC?
The standard bylaws require council to inform owners of council-meeting minutes within two weeks of the meeting, approved or not. Your own bylaws may set a different rule; AryaPM tracks the date either way.
Can the strata manager take the minutes?
Yes. The minutes desk is shared between the manager and council with role-based editing.
Are minutes searchable?
Yes. Minutes are stored as text, not scanned PDFs, so owners and council can search them.
