This policy is part of the AryaPM Terms of Service. It describes how the Service may be used so that it stays safe, lawful and reliable for every property that runs on it. It applies to every Client Organisation and every Authorised User, including staff, council members, owners, tenants, agents, technicians and concierge staff.
1.Use the Service lawfully and honestly
- Use the Service only for managing properties, their residents and their operations, and only as permitted by your Client Organisation.
- Comply with all laws that apply to you, including the Strata Property Act, residential tenancy law, privacy law, human-rights law and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
- Provide accurate information. Do not impersonate another person, claim a unit, role or authority you do not have, or misrepresent your relationship to a property.
- Keep your credentials to yourself. Do not share accounts, and tell your administrator or support@aryapm.ca immediately if you believe an account is compromised.
2.Respect residents' personal information
- Enter personal information only when you have the authority and consent to do so, and only what the task needs.
- Use resident information only for the property purpose it was collected for. Do not export, copy or disclose directories, contact lists, ledgers or complaint files for any other purpose.
- Keep complainant identities within the file. Bylaw and complaint records must never be shared with a respondent or third party except through the Service's designed workflows.
- Do not photograph or record residents, their homes or their vehicles beyond what an operational task requires, and never upload images that identify children without a parent's consent.
3.Prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- Upload or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, threatening, obscene or that infringes another person's rights.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages through the Service, or use its email, SMS or push features for anything other than communications about the property.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, bypass or attempt to bypass any access control, rate limit or tenancy boundary, or access data belonging to another property.
- Introduce malware, scrape the Service, run automated bulk requests, or interfere with its operation or the operation of any other client's tenancy.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, or resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties except as an Order permits.
- Use payment features to launder money, evade taxes, or collect charges a property is not entitled to impose.
- Use automated or AI-assisted features to generate notices, letters or decisions and send them without human review.
- Remove or alter any notice, watermark or attribution in the Service or in documents it produces.
4.Role-specific responsibilities
- Administrators approve accounts deliberately, remove access when people leave, and review the audit trail for their property.
- Council and board members treat the Service's governance records as confidential to the council, subject to their statutory duties to owners.
- Owners and tenants keep their household records accurate and use booking and request features for their own unit.
- Property agents act only for the units their principal has authorised.
- Technicians, housekeeping and concierge staff record work truthfully, attach real photos, and do not close work that was not done.
5.Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and where appropriate notify the Client Organisation, the affected individuals or law enforcement. We will tell you what we did and why unless the law prevents it or doing so would compromise an investigation.
Client Organisations are responsible for their Authorised Users’ compliance with this policy and may be asked to take corrective action. Repeated or serious breaches are grounds for termination under the Terms of Service.
6.Reporting abuse
To report content or conduct that breaches this policy, or a security concern, email support@aryapm.ca with “Abuse” or “Security” in the subject line. We acknowledge reports within two business days and treat security reports made in good faith as authorised research, provided you do not access, alter or disclose data that is not yours and you give us a reasonable time to fix the issue.
